AnnMarie Malcom is a CNA (Certified Nurse Aide/Assistant - 1993), and a Certified Home Attendant/Personal Care Services -1989) and who has helped several individuals who are elderly and disabled in private duty, including patients who needed help with several activities of daily living. AnnMarie was born in Jamaica, graduated high school from Holy Trinity School in Kingston, Jamaica and came to the US in 1996. She is a naturalized citizen of the United States.
She has significant experience helping elderly and sick people, including the following:
(1) She has been caring for people since certified, mostly elderly. She has specific experience with people who were various people (female, age 40 - for 9 years, male age 50 for 4 years, female age 80 for 2 years and then she moved to North Carolina).
(2) She also helped people of various ages, including the elderly, with mental impairments, strokes, Alzheimer's, seizures, trouble walking, needing assistance with activities of daily living, and other ailments.
She is fluent in English and also speaks Spanish.
Ann Marie lives in a rented apartment in a private house. She has 3 children who do not live with her ((1) daughter who is 29 with 2 children and who is an LPN at Calvary Hospital (2) son who is 30 who lives with Ann Marie's sister in Brooklyn and (3) son who is autistic and who lives in Long Island. Her mother died around 2004 and her father is currently in the hospital.
She very much likes helping people, in large part due to her family upbringing, and she has many years of experience, is loving and caring, patient, smart, well-spoken, organized, skilled and gets along well with people.
